Political Drama Unfolds in AP as Kesineni Nani Eyes on YSRCP

Political dynamics in Andhra Pradesh are taking an intriguing turn as Vijayawada MP Kesineni Nani recently declared his resignation from the TDP. Despite feeling that the party no longer required his services, Chandrababu Naidu believes it is inappropriate for Nani to persist in the party. Consequently, Nani has announced his intention to travel to Delhi soon to formally submit his resignation to the Speaker, and he has also communicated his decision to step down from party membership through social media. In the backdrop of these developments, there are indications that Kesineni Nani may align with the YSRCP.

Nani’s recent meeting with CM Jagan, accompanied by his daughter Swetha, who also resigned from the TDP, has become a focal point in Andhra Pradesh’s political discourse. Nani has disclosed plans to relinquish his MP post in February. Speculation is rife that if Kesineni Nani aligns with the YSRCP, he may potentially contest as an MP from Vijayawada in the upcoming elections.

Adding to the complexity of the situation, there are reports circulating on social media suggesting that Kesineni Nani is set to join the YSRCP on the 11th of this month. Rumors also claim that he is lobbying for five additional assembly seats. Allegedly, Kesineni has sought tickets for specific individuals, including his daughter Kesineni Swetha from Vijayawada East, Mm Baig from Vijayawada West, Kanneganti Jeevaratnam from Nandigama, Nallagatla Swamy Dasu from Tiruvuru, and Bommasani Subbarao from Mylavaram. However, there are conflicting opinions, with some dismissing these claims as mere propaganda.
