Prof. Nageshwar Rao: ‘Lokesh Yatra is not Effective Like YSR Or Jagan’s Padayatra’

Prominent political analyst Prof.Nageshwar said that Nara Lokesh’s Yuvagalam Padayatra did not have much effect on the people. He said, “Late CM Dr YS. Rajasekhar Reddy’s padayatra got an unprecedented response. After starting the padayatra, he did not stop anywhere. In Rajahmundry, due to ill health, he took a break from padayatra for two days but did not stop. Persistence and commitment are on the padayatra. Also, YS Jagan’s padayatra went on without stopping anywhere. But Lokesh Padayatra didn’t go effectively like them.”

Prof.Nageshwar said, “If any program is started and goes on continuously, it will have one effect; if it is stopped, it will have another effect. Lokesh Padayatra broke due to Chandrababu’s. Lokesh went to Hyderabad and Delhi and had discussions with the lawyers. In fact, Lokesh might have shifted to Delhi out of fear of arrest.” He said that even if he is arrested during the Yatra, there will be no influence in AP politics. All in all, he believed that Lokesh’s Padayatra was not very profitable.
