Leaks from Chandrababu’s list send shockwaves through TDP camp

Chandrababu Naidu surprised Telugu Desam Party (TDP) members in the united West Godavari district by seemingly excluding district TDP President Ganni Veeranjaneyulu from the candidate list. Similarly, Polavaram and Tadepalligudem seats appear to be denied to the in-charge individuals, causing dissatisfaction among the party ranks. This development followed without any prior announcements from Janasena regarding alliance seats, leading to unrest, particularly in Polavaram, Unguturu, and Tadepalligudem constituencies. An emergency meeting was held in the Polavaram constituency, where leaders decided to nominate in-charge Borgam Srinivas for the seat.

TDP leaders resolve to turn in mass resignations in protest of seat leaks

TDP leaders, dissatisfied with the alliance with Janasena, are reportedly preparing for mass resignations, especially in constituencies like Polavaram, Unguturu, and Tadepalligudem, opposing the decision not to allocate seats to their in-charges. Specifically, in Unguturu, TDP members have asserted that the district president, Ganni Veeranjaneyulu, should be given a seat. However, the confusion over which seats have been allocated to whom has led to chaos within the party.
