YSRCP Gears Up with New Survey as Election Heat Intensifies in AP

The excitement for the assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh is growing fast. The ruling party YSRCP has chosen its candidates and is getting ready. TDP is also gearing up, along with Janasena, as they announced their first list together. YSRCP aims to win all 175 seats in the upcoming election and has studied the social backgrounds of each area to pick the right candidates.

YSRCP is planning strategies to counter the opposition. It appears that Backward Classes (BCs) will be given more importance in open-category general positions. They will receive a significant number of seats compared to the opposition’s initial list. There might be changes and additions to the current seats as part of this plan. TDP and Janasena are gearing up to provide strong competition to the declared candidates. Another round of surveys will be conducted to assess the candidates’ strengths in their respective positions. YSRCP has already made around 70 changes and additions, focusing mainly on key constituencies. The final list will be announced soon after discussions with key leaders.

YSRCP is targeting Chandrababu’s constituency, Kuppam, in the upcoming elections. They are determined to defeat him there. Additionally, they are working on finalizing candidates for ten other constituencies. Changes may occur in 3 to 5 Lok Sabha seats and five Assembly seats. In Mangalagiri, where TDP’s Lokesh is contesting, a candidate from the handloom community has been fielded by YSRCP. After the opposition releases its final list, it plans to reassess its candidates’ strengths and make adjustments if needed.
