YSRCP’s ‘Samara Shankharavam’: ‘Siddham’ meeting in Bheemili

Elections in AP are only around two months away. It is in this background that the politics in the state has already heated up. This time they are trying to impress the voters with their own strategies in the hope of getting power somehow. As a part of that, TDP leader Chandrababu is already holding public meetings in the name of ‘Raa.. Kadalira..’. CM Jagan, who is leading a welfare regime in the state, will hold election public meetings explaining the government’s welfare schemes to the people as part of his strategy to retain power. For this, YSRCP ‘Siddham’ public meetings are going to start from today. Today in Bheemili of Visakha district, the election campaign will be kicked off in grand fashion in the name of ‘Samara Shankharavam’ by party Supremo CM Jagan Mohan Reddy.

The YSRCP has organized a huge meeting near Tagarapuvalasa Junction in Bheemili. Party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will blow the ‘Shankharavam’ (conch shell horn) of the election by chanting the slogan ‘Siddham’ (Ready). This time, the YSRCP is going to organise all their election meetings in the name of ‘Siddham’. It wants people to be ready to vote for the YSRCP once again. The party workers have already started the ‘Siddham’ campaign. YSRCP is putting up large-scale’Siddham’ hoardings in the districts, as part of its campaign. Along with that they are distributing ‘Siddham’ leaflets to people.

CM Jagan wanted to make Visakhapatnam the administrative capital according to his three capitals system. For this reason, it seems that the he is going to start the election campaign from Visakhapatnam. The 2019 election campaign was also started from Uttarandhra. YSRCP workers from 34 assembly constituencies of Uttarandhra are going to come to today’s meeting. It is expected that more than 3 lakh people will turn out. There is a lot of excitement about what CM Jagan will say in this ‘Siddham’ meeting. According to information from reliable sources, besides explaining the works done by the government and the schemes implemented in these five years, there is a chance he will disclose what he wants to do if he wins again. There also chances that he will target the TDP-Janasena alliance.

YSRCP believes that ‘Siddham’ is a simple slogan. Analysts say that there is a possibility the Bheemili Siddham meeting may create a positive emotion for the YSRCP among the people. After Bhimili, there is going to be a Siddham meeting in Rajahmundry. After that, it seems that there will be a Siddham meeting in Eluru by February 1st.

On the other hand, the song commissioned by YSRCP to commemorate the spirit of the ‘Siddham’ public meetings is getting good response from the public. With powerful lyrics like ‘Jai Jai Jai Jai Jai Jaganantu.. Sai Sai Sai Sai Nee Satelerantu..’ the YSRCP activists released this song stating that they are ‘Ready!’ for the elections.
