The lawyer representing the Hindus, Jain, has asserted that the Archaeological Survey of India’s survey indicates that the present mosque was constructed using pillars from a Hindu temple. It is suspected that the southern wall of the mosque was originally part of a Hindu temple. The lawyer for the Hindu side revealed that sculptures belonging to the temple were slightly modified and then used in the construction of the mosque. They claimed to have found 34 key inscriptions related to the temple’s construction. The survey disclosed that inscriptions with names such as Janardhan, Rudra, and Umeswar were discovered. Lawyer Vishnu Shankar Jain stated that these inscriptions were in Devanagari, Telugu, and Kannada languages.
