Delhi CM Kejriwal Asserts: ‘Will Not Bow Down As Long As I’m Right’

Delhi Chief Minister and AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal made sensational allegations against the BJP. He accused that their party MLAs are being tempted with offers of 25 crores to join the BJP, alleging that overtures are being made. BJP’s Delhi chief Virendra Sachdeva filed a complaint with the police, and the police issued notices to Kejriwal seeking an explanation. He also revealed that not only the party MLAs but he himself was approached to join the BJP. He stated that he was told if he joined the BJP, the harassment would stop and the cases against him would be pardoned.

He argued that accepting the BJP’s offer would mean all past errors are forgiven, as if by a cleansing ritual. Kejriwal challenged the notion, questioning why they should join the BJP if they haven’t done anything wrong, implying that joining out of fear is for those who have made mistakes. He explained that he firmly told the BJP he would not bow down to anyone as long as he had not committed any wrongdoing. He stated that he and his government are continuously striving for the development of Delhi. He defended their actions, asking what is wrong in building schools, hospitals, and roads.
