Major Update Revealed on General Election Schedule!

A crucial update has arrived regarding the much-anticipated general election schedule that everyone across the country has been eagerly waiting for. Along with the Lok Sabha elections, the Election Commission of India is ready to conduct elections for the Assemblies of Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Arunachal Pradesh, and Sikkim. Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar has announced that the election schedule could be released in a few days. With the Election Commission set to meet central government officials on either March 8 or 9, anticipation grows as national media reports suggest that the election schedule could be announced at any moment following the meeting.

The Election Commission is also planning to conduct elections in Jammu and Kashmir if conditions are favourable. The Election Commission team is scheduled to conduct an assessment visit to Jammu and Kashmir on March 12-13 to review the local conditions for facilitating elections. Following the visit, there is a possibility of gaining clarity regarding the conduct of elections in Jammu and Kashmir. It is known that during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the Election Commission of India had also announced the schedule on March 10th.
