Mizoram Chief Minister Confirmed: Swearing In On THIS date

The ZPM (Zoram People’s Movement) party led by Lalduhoma won in Mizoram. It won 27 out of 40 assembly seats. In this order, the ruling MNF (Mizo National Front) will be removed from power. ZPM will take power. Meanwhile, Lalduhoma, who has been elected as the new Chief Minister of Mizoram, will take oath on the 8th of this month. Arrangements are ongoing in this regard. On the other hand, a meeting of Zoram People’s Movement (ZPM) MLAs will be held today at 8 PM at Lalduhoma residence in Aizawl.

Zoram People’s Movement (ZPM) party leader Lalduhoma, 74, started his career as an IPS officer. First, he performed his duties in Goa, then he was transferred to Delhi. Later, he took charge as the security in-charge of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. After that, he came out of service and founded the Zoram People’s Movement (ZPM). He was elected to the Lok Sabha in 1984.

Lalduhoma was chosen as the chief ministerial candidate of the ZNP-led Zoram People’s Movement (ZPM) alliance in the last assembly elections. Elections for 40 assembly seats in Mizoram were held on November 7. The counting of votes was done on December 4. With MNF’s defeat in these results, Zoramthanga submitted his resignation to Governor Kambhampati Hari Babu at Raj Bhavan.
