PM Modi Honours Pulwama Heroes: ‘Their Sacrifice Will Never Be Forgotten’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi pays tribute to soldiers martyred in Pulwama attack. He expresses his tribute to the Bravehearts martyred in Pulwama on Twitter (X). Their services and sacrifices for the nation will forever be remembered.

Today commemorates the fifth anniversary of the Pulwama terrorist attack in the Jammu and Kashmir region. On February 14, 2019, terrorists launched an attack. This attack is also one of the major terrorist attacks on India. On that dark day, terrorists targeted a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) convoy with a vehicle laden with 200 kilograms of explosives, resulting in the tragic death of 40 CRPF personnel. In this attack, another 35 individuals were seriously injured. On that day, the CRPF convoy consisted of 78 vehicles, transporting over 2500 soldiers.

I pay homage to the brave heroes who were martyred in Pulwama. Their service and sacrifice for our nation will always be remembered.

In response to this attack, India conducted a surgical strike in Pakistan, eliminating several militants.
