Prime Minister Announces Good News for Women

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to deliver good news to women today. He will be participating in the ‘Sashakt Nari Viksit’ program being held in New Delhi. On this occasion, Modi is going to provide nearly Rs. 2,000 crores of capitalization support funds to self-help groups. Similarly, he will also be distributing drones to a thousand women. Furthermore, Modi is also scheduled to inaugurate the Dwarka Expressway today.

From 11 different locations across the country, ‘Namo Drone Didi’ will simultaneously participate in drone demonstrations. The ‘Namo Drone Didi’ and ‘Lakhpati Didi’ programs are initiatives by the central government to enhance economic empowerment and self-reliance among women in rural areas. Modi is also scheduled to visit Pokhran in Rajasthan. He will inaugurate the Dwarka Expressway and dedicate it to the nation. He will inspect indigenous technologies including the light combat aircraft Tejas, Light Utility Helicopters, and advanced light helicopters.
