Rahul Gandhi Leads ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ in Jharkhand

In Jharkhand, Congress senior leader Rahul Gandhi continues the “Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra”. During this event, Rahul Gandhi is engaging with individuals, inquiring about their concerns and societal issues. Recently, he had a conversation with coal transportation workers. To understand the struggles of workers who transport tons of weight on bicycles, he rode a bicycle loaded with 200 kilos of coal. He posted photos related to this on his X account.

Every day, they travel 30-40 kilometers carrying coal sacks that weigh tons. He mentioned in a tweet that despite their hard work, the income from this job is very low. Rahul expressed in the tweet, “Without bearing their burdens, we cannot fully comprehend their struggles.” Rahul emphasized that the goal of this journey is to ensure that these workers, who are deeply involved in building the nation, receive wages commensurate with their hard work and that justice is served to them.

The Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, initiated by Rahul Gandhi on February 2nd, is currently underway in Ramgarh, Jharkhand. On Monday, as part of his tour, Rahul Gandhi paid rich tributes to Shaheed Sheikh Bhikhari and Tikait Umrao Singh, who became martyrs in the 1857 Jharkhand Revolution. Rahul Gandhi received a warm welcome from Champai Soren, who was recently appointed CM.
