Security Lapse In PM Modi’s Jharkhand Tour, Three Policemen Suspended

A VVIP trip dictates that all security arrangements should be made a week in advance. Strict measures should be taken to avoid any security lapses during the trip. Similarly, strict action will also be taken if any errors occur during such trips. Recently there was a security failure during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit. The government has suspended three police officers responsible for this.

Prime Minister Modi visited Jharkhand on the 15th of this month on the occasion of tribal hero Birsa Munda’s birth anniversary. While touring in Ranchi, suddenly a woman came in the way of Modi’s convoy. The security forces immediately responded and took her aside. When they enquired about her details, she said that she had often quarrelled with her husband and she came there to tell this matter to Prime Minister Modi. The police were shocked to hear this.

However, the police, who were supposed to prevent people from obstructing the Prime Minister’s tour, showed negligence. sub-inspector Abu Zafar, Constables Chote Lal Tudu and Ranjan Kumar who were responsible for this were suspended. The fact that three jobs were lost for the work done by one woman has become a topic of discussion.
