Siddaramaiah: BJP Trying OPERATION KAMALA To Topple Karnataka Govt, In Vain

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has accused the BJP of planning to destabilise the Congress government in Karnataka. But he expressed hope that the BJP’s plans will not be successful. He said that not a single MLA would leave the Congress party.

The CM made his latest comments against the backdrop of allegations of BJP luring MLAs in South Karnataka in the name of Operation Kamala. On the other hand, Congress Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar also accused the BJP of a big conspiracy to topple their government. He alleged that they know everything and some highly reputed people are trying to buy MLAs.

DK said that he has instructed the Congress MLAs not to make any public statements on the affairs of the party and if they do so, strict action will be taken. Meanwhile, BJP leader CN Ashwath Narayan commented that there is no need for his party to buy MLAs and the ‘Competition Operation’ for the post of CM is going on in the Congress itself.
