Yogi Govt: Paper leak in Constable Exam leads to cancellation

CM Yogi Adityanath made a key announcement. In the wake of paper leak allegations, the UP Police Constable Recruitment Examination- 2023 has been announced to be cancelled. The officials were directed to re-conduct the examination within six months. As the question paper went viral on social media a few hours before the exam began, thousands of candidates who had appeared for the exam staged protests across the state demanding the re-conduct of the exam. Yogi government agreed to take this decision as a result.

The official schedule of the UP Police Constable Exam will be announced soon. The exam in question was conducted on February 17 and 18. On this occasion, CM Yogi warned that strict action would be taken against those who play with the lives of the youth. In addition to this, the UP government has ordered a government-level probe into the irregularities and rigging of the Review Officer/Assistant Review Officer (RO/ARO) examination.
