A Day Of Resignations: Kaushik, Kadiyam, and Rajeshwar Resigns From MLC posts

Resignations continue in Telangana after the election results. MLCs who won as MPs and MLAs in the assembly elections resigned from their respective positions. Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, Kadiyam Srihari and Padi Kaushik Reddy, who are continuing as BRS party MLCs, were elected as MLAs in the latest elections. They gave up their MLC positions after taking oath as MLAs on Saturday. To this extent, their resignations were accepted by Legislative Council Chairman Gutta Sukhender Reddy.

In the quota of MLAs, Padi Kaushik Reddy and Kadiyam Srihari were selected as MLCs. It is known that Palla Rajeshwar Reddy was elected as the MLC of Khammam-Warangal-Nallagonda Pattabhadru. Kadiam from Station Ghanpur, Palla from Janagama and Kaushik from Huzurabad won as MLAs. With this, he will give up the MLC posts and continue as MLAs. In a democratic country, a person should be a member of only one legislature. There should not be civility in both houses. It is in this context that they have given up their posts as MLCs. Revanth Reddy, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and Uttam Kumar Reddy, who were elected as MLAs, resigned from their MP positions. Kasireddy Narayana Reddy, who was elected as Kalwakurthy MLA, also resigned from the position of MLC.
