Another shock to BRS: Joint Adilabad leaders join Congress

The BRS party, which lost power recently in Telangana, got yet another blow. Senior BRS leaders in the joint Adilabad district left the party and accepted the Congress scarf. With this, the ‘Car’ is empty in Adilabad. Adilabad Zilla Parishad Chairman Rathod Janardhan and DCCB Chairman Addi Bojareddy joined the Congress party in the presence of Adilabad district in-charge minister Seethakka. In this event held in Hyderabad on Thursday, the leaders and activists of the BRS joined the ruling party on a large scale.

Speaking on this occasion, Minister Seethakka severely criticized the previous BRS government. “Adilabad district is backward and far from development. Adilabad needs to be developed a lot. People’s agenda is our agenda. People’s development is our development. Let’s discuss with the people and solve the problems,” she said. She revealed that she will visit Adilabad soon and review the development works. “A meeting will be held soon in Adilabad. Let’s conduct a review of the Lok Sabha election exercise”, she said.
