AP Mithun Reddy Sole Name In BJP’s Second List For Telangana Elections

As the elections in Telangana are approaching, all the parties are working on announcing the list of candidates. BRS has already announced candidates in almost all the constituencies. Congress has revealed 55 candidates in the first list and is preparing to announce the second list soon. The BJP released the second list today after listing 52 names in the first release.

BJP has released the second list for Telangana assembly elections. But the released list has only one candidate’s name. They allotted the Mahbubnagar Assembly Constituency ticket to AP Mithun Reddy. Mithun Kumar Reddy is the son of former MP AP Jithender Reddy. Jithender Reddy won as BJP MP in 1999. In 2014, he won as MP from Mahbubnagar on behalf of the BRS party. He returned to the BJP in 2019. This time, Jithender Reddy succeeded in getting a BJP ticket to his son as his political successor.

On October 22, the first list of Telangana BJP with 52 candidates was released for the Telangana elections. It has been announced that Etela Rajender will contest from Huzurabad and Gajwel. Also, the party’s general secretary Bandi Sanjay will contest from the Karimnagar assembly segment. BJP is ready to contest from all the seats in the Old City area. 12 women were given a chance in the first list. Three MPs were brought into the ring for assembly seats. BCs-16, SCs-8, STs-6, and OCs-10 have been allocated seats.
