Bandi Sanjay Inspects Road Widening Works: Warns Officials for Negligence

Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay inspected the Shanigaram-Sundaragiri road widening works being carried out with CRIF funds at Thangallapally in Koheda Mandal of Husnabad Constituency. Locals have complained to him against the authorities and contractors that the road works are not being done properly, they are facing various problems with dust every day, and accidents are not being taken care of.

So MP Sanjay went to the place where the road widening works were going on and observed. “If people are facing so much trouble, why are they not taking action? The central funds are not pending. If the state government is unwilling to release these funds, why didn’t you bring this to my notice? What are you doing while all this is happening? Why is there a delay in the works with no one monitoring the works?” Sanjay questioned the locals and the officials responsible.

He alleged that they are stopping the work fearing that the BJP will gain fame if the road works are completed. He warned the officials that there would be zero tolerance if there was any inconvenience to the public. He added that the road works should be completed before the end of March with quality, and if they cannot complete it within the deadline or if the quality is not good, action will be taken.
