BRS Sitting MP Says Goodbye to Party

BRS’s situation is deteriorating day by day following the Assembly elections. Before BRS could recover from the shock of losing power, it is facing further setbacks. Ahead of the upcoming parliamentary elections, several leaders from the party are submitting their resignations. Recently, a sitting MP left the BRS party to join Congress.

Peddapalli’s sitting MP, Venkatesh Netha, joined Congress. CM Revanth Reddy, along with Congress leader KC Venugopal, met in Delhi. They subsequently joined the Congress party, embracing its principles. Along with the MP, several BRS leaders have also joined the Congress party. Venkatesh Netha switched from Congress to BRS before the 2019 Lok Sabha elections and won as a BRS MP from Peddapalli. The MP, who had been distancing himself from party activities for some days, joined Congress today in the presence of CM Revanth.

Following the assembly election defeat, KCR is set to meet party leaders for the first time today at Telangana Bhavan. KCR plans to discuss upcoming parliamentary elections and assembly sessions with leaders. The inclusion of Peddapalli MP into Congress today marks a significant setback for the BRS party.

The recent meeting of four BRS MLAs from the united Medak district and Rajendranagar MLA Prakash Goud with CM Revanth Reddy has become a topic of discussion in political circles. Although they clarified that they are not leaving the party, the uncertainty over when any leader might bid farewell to the party has caused concern among the party leadership and members.
