CM Revanth, Deputy CM Bhatti Seek Central Aid in Meeting with PM Modi

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka convened with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to address the issue of pending funds and grants from the Center to Telangana. The discussions encompassed various aspects, including development projects, fund allocations, and other state-related concerns.

During the meeting, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy advocated for granting national status to the Palamuru-Dindi project. This encounter marked the first interaction between these leaders and the Prime Minister since assuming state governance responsibilities.

As part of their Delhi visit, both Revanth and Bhatti are scheduled to meet not only Prime Minister Modi but also high-ranking members of the Congress party. The agenda includes discussions with AICC President Mallikarjuna Kharge, influential leader KC Venugopal, and potentially Rahul Gandhi. The focus of these conversations will extend to strategizing for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, as well as deliberations on cabinet expansion and appointments to nominated positions.
