CM Revanth Discusses Musi Cleanup With London Authorities

It is known that the Congress government has given serious attention to cleaning the Musi River. Their goal is not just to eliminate pollution but also to transform it into an attractive destination for tourism.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy visited London after his trip to Davos. During his stay, he had an important three-and-a-half-hour meeting with representatives from the Thames River Authority and the London Port Authority to discuss significant matters.

He requested their cooperation in enhancing the Musi River in Hyderabad, similar to the way the Thames River has been developed in various ways. The vision of the state government was also communicated to them. A team of experts from London will soon arrive in Hyderabad. They will explain the plans to state government officials and also conduct an on-site visit regarding cleaning.

CM Revanth was briefed on the significant efforts made to enhance and rehabilitate the River Thames, along with details regarding current management. They had also created Awareness about London – Vision 2050. They also had conversations regarding cleaning up the Musi and exploring the various ways to turn it into a model that generates different forms of revenue in the future.
