CM Revanth Reddy To Conduct Review On Dharani, To Set Up A New Committee

The new Congress government, which fulfilled two promises within a week of forming the government, is now taking steps towards fulfilling the remaining four promises in Telangana. In this order, successive meetings are being held with all the departments. CM Revanth Reddy will conduct a review of Dharani this afternoon. It is known that the government is thinking of setting up a committee to solve the Dharani problems.

It is reported that monthly revenue meetings are organized in the Mandal centre. Congress had earlier announced that they would change Dharani’s name to Bhumata. A decision will be taken on the replacement of employees in the revenue department. There are already complaints in the media about Dharani’s problems. Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy and senior officials will attend this program.

The Congress has included in its manifesto that it will cancel the Dharani portal brought by the BRS government and get a portal named ‘Bhumata’ for better income services. They said that a comprehensive land rights survey will be conducted to restore justice to all the farmers who have lost their land rights. Through that survey, the Congress announced that every farmer would be given a ‘Bhudhar Card’ and the recommendations of the Koneru Ranga Rao Land Committee would be implemented.

Congress also promised to set up a land commission and protect government lands. A comprehensive revenue tribunal will be set up to protect people’s lands and land rights. Congress made it clear that the poor would be given full land rights in the 25 lakh acres of land distributed to them through land reforms by the previous Congress government. In the manifesto, the Congress has stated that its mission is to establish a transparent online system so that no land disputes and disputes arise between them in the future. Congress made it clear that within 100 days of coming to power, the lands in the prohibited list will be removed.
