CM Revanth Reddy’s Mark Evident in Telangana Governance

After the Congress party came to power in Telangana and Revanth Reddy took oath as the CM, he has been making his mark felt on governance. He is radically making changes to the decisions taken by the previous government or making modifications and additions to them. He has changed TS to TG. Now, he is set to unveil the new official anthem of Telangana.

While KCR was in power, he worked on the state anthem of Telangana but could not present it to the people. Now, Revanth Reddy has paid attention to it. The ‘Jaya Jayahe Telangana’ song, written by Ande Sri, is going to be unveiled as the official song. Prominent music director, MM Keeravani, is putting the finishing touches on it. Keeravani has made three versions: one as a prayer in schools, another for the government’s official functions, and a regular version.

Another notable change the Revanth government brought about is the change from TS (Telangana State) to TG (Telangana). It is known that during the height of the Telangana movement, activists wrote slogans on walls using TG as the short form for Telangana.

In addition, the Congress government has decided to make changes to the official seal (emblem) of the Telangana government. CM Revanth reckons that the current official seal contains royal symbols. The work related to this new emblem is already underway.
