CM Revanth’s Hyderabad Development Review: Focus On Musi Clean-up

The Congress government in Telangana has fallen. After taking charge as Chief Minister, Revanth Reddy is conducting a series of reviews. Corrupt officials are sweating as the CM is investigating the work done by the previous government. In this context, on Tuesday, he reviewed the Greater Hyderabad region on cleaning of Moosi River.

First, he conducted a review of Greater Hyderabad. Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Ministers Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Damodar Raja Narasimha, MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi, MLAs of the opposition party and MIM, as well as several Congress MLAs and MLCs, attended the meeting held at the BR Ambedkar Secretariat. On this occasion, along with the development of Hyderabad, focus was put on cleaning the Musi River. The officials were directed to make the catchment area from the river’s beginning to its end as an employment and economic development area in the city.

Instructions for cleaning the Musi River

The CM suggested making the Musi surrounding a self-reliant economic zone to attract tourists. For this, the officials were directed to prepare comprehensive plans to construct bridges, commercial, shopping complexes, amusement parks, hawker zones and pathways along the Musi River in a public-private partnership system.

CM Revanth Reddy wants to set up sewage treatment plants in necessary areas to reduce the pollution in the Musi River and prevent sewage from flowing. He suggested the authorities to take measures to flow purified water in Musi and to make plans to construct check dams to ensure that the water level is always adequate.

Metro To Runs through Old City

On the other hand, CM Revanth Reddy focused on the metro train project as well. CM Revanth Reddy has changed the metro train alignment which was approved by the BRS government. The route map of the metro train going to Shamshabad Airport has been finalized to pass through the Old City of Hyderabad. He revealed that the transport facility will be made available to the people of the city through this. On the other hand, CM Revanth cancelled the Outer Ring Road metro project. The CM announced that the metro project was designed to increase the land rates of BRS leaders and realtors along the outer ring road.
