Congress, CPM Compete For Paleru- Matter Reaches Delhi

Assembly election time is approaching in Telangana. The BRS campaign is going on aggressively. But the alliance between the Congress and the Left has not reached a conclusion yet. Despite the political understanding between the parties, there is still uncertainty over the seats. These parties are still bargaining for seats.

Stubborn CPM Over Seats

There is fierce competition between Congress and CPM for the Paleru seat. Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy from the Congress and Tammineni Veerabhadram from the CPM are still fighting for the Paleru seat. CPM is looking stubborn in their efforts to hold onto the Paleru seat. While they are demanding Paleru, Congress is saying that they will give the Wyra seat instead. It is reported that Ponguleti has been called to Delhi over this seat issue.

Ponguleti vs. Tammineni

Ponguleti and Thummala are continuing in Congress in the state. In this background, there is a possibility that Ponguleti will contest from Paleru and Thummala from Khammam. With this, it does not appear that the position of Paleru will be given to CPM. Meanwhile, it seems that Tammineni Veerabhadram, the party’s state secretary, is thinking of contesting on behalf of the CPM. If that position is not given, there is no chance of CPM agreeing to the alliance. The Congress party is in trouble as the CPM is demanding the seats held by the Congress. Everyone is excited about what the high command will say about these seats.
