‘Congress Formed Telangana..’ Chidambaram Accuses KCR Of Debt

Former union minister and senior Congress leader P. Chidambaram, who came to Telangana for the election campaign, spoke to the media at Gandhi Bhavan, the party’s office in Hyderabad on Thursday. Chidambaram made it clear that the Congress party is responsible for the formation of Telangana state. He said that despite all the odds, Congress formed a separate state.

He said that KCR had corrupted the Telangana that was given to them. During the nine and a half years of KCR’s rule, the debts of the state have increased enormously. He accused the KCR government of failure in unemployment and price rises. He said that the funds allocated for education are much less than the national average. It is explained that urban unemployment is higher than the country’s average, and BRS couldn’t fill the 80,000 vacant government jobs.

Chidambaram said that there is an average debt of one lakh per person in Telangana. He said that CM KCR did not implement the promised unemployment benefits. It is said that all the communities are unhappy in Telangana. He clarified that it was Congress that built the projects in the state and developed the Hyderabad. Chidambaram announced that after forming the government in Telangana, the Congress would strictly implement the six guarantees.
