Congress Takes Pivotal Step: Initiates Plans for Setting Up Nursing, Paramedical Colleges

CM Revanth Reddy conducted a review meeting with Health Department officials at the Secretariat. The suggestion was made to establish nursing and para-medical colleges wherever there is a medical college. Authorities have been instructed to develop a common policy for this purpose. Specifically, the establishment of medical and nursing colleges in Kodangal was discussed.

The emphasis was on ensuring comprehensive medical services at Bibinagar AIIMS to alleviate the burden on Osmania and NIMS hospitals. CM Revanth directed the identification of area-wise government hospitals, with the possibility of providing CMRF LOC to ensure complete medical services at AIIMS.

CM Revanth proposed outsourcing the responsibility of hygiene maintenance in government hospitals affiliated with medical colleges to prominent pharmaceutical companies. Additionally, he sought details about the implementation of Aarogyasri in the state, including funding specifics.
