Needs CBI Inquiry On Corruption In Kaleshwaram Project – Raghunandana Rao

BJP leader Raghunandana Rao said that the CAG had asked the state government for a report on the corruption that happened in Kaleshwaram with a letter in March 2023. He said that the state government has hidden this because they are afraid of where their treasure will be exposed. He said that they have doubts about the way the Congress is acting on the Kaleshwaram issue.

Raghunandana Rao said that the biggest scam in the history of the country happened in the Kaleshwaram project. He said that when Revanth was PCC president, he wrote to Amit Shah asking for a CBI inquiry. He said that if a review is conducted on this project, the real culprit will be revealed.

Raghunandana Rao said that a review of Kaleswaram was done in 2008 during the reign of YS Rajasekhara Reddy. It was revealed that a proposal was made to irrigate 12 lakh acres with 160 TMC. He said that a proposal was made once again to increase the Ayakattu by another 2 lakh acres during the YS regime. He demanded an inquiry with the CBI on the corruption in this project.
