Free Bus Service Confirmed for Medaram Jatara

The world’s largest tribal festival, Medaram Jatara, takes place in Asia, attracting millions of devotees every two years. The festival is held once every two years, and this festival witnesses millions of devotees, contributing to a massive congregation. There is a discussion about whether RTC will have a free bus for this festival or not. There are rumours among the public that the Congress government might not be giving the free bus service as promised. Seethakka assured everyone that free travel on buses to Medaram Jatara is available, contrary to the rumours. Many people gather for the Mini Maha Kumbh Mela, known as Medaram Jatara to seek blessings.

Minister Seethakka visited Mulugu district. On this occasion, she reviewed the arrangements for Sammakka Sarakka Jatara with officials. She informed that the Medaram Sammakka Sarakka Jatara in Mulugu district resembles the grand Kumbh Mela. She said that people from different countries will come to this festival that happens every two years, and they are preparing proper arrangements for them. It has been clarified that there is a free bus service available for women coming to Medaram Jatara from various regions.

Minister Seethakka has announced an increase in the number of buses, considering the potential surge in devotees expected to attend Medaram Jatara. She said that the state government has allocated a large amount of funds for the Medaram fair and is ready to provide additional funds if necessary. They have demanded the central government to give national recognition to the festival.
