Huge response for Praja Palana: Applications cross 1 Crore

As part of the implementation of the six guarantees announced by Congress, first, the free travel in RTC buses for women and the Aarogyasri limit increase to 10 lakhs have already been implemented. The exercise has started to implement the rest of the guarantees. As a part of that, the Praja Palana program was launched from December 28 to January 6. Grama sabhas in villages across the state, and ward sabhas in towns and cities are receiving applications. The problems faced by citizens across the state can be filled out in a single application distributed by the government and then accepted. Today is the deadline for this program. On the other hand, another application has been distributed specifically for new ration cards, changes and additions to the ration card.

There is a huge response to the Praja Palana program. By Friday, the number of applications had crossed the one crore mark. Till Friday midnight, 1,08,94,115 applications were received. Out of these, 93,38,111 applications were received with respect to six guarantees under Abhaya Hastam and 15,55,704 applications were received for other matters. About 1,02,49,312 families participated in Praja Palana Grama Sabhas. Public administration was conducted in 12,171 gram-panchayats and 3512 municipal wards till Friday.
