They must be barren lands!’

The Chief Minister conducted a high-level review along with Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka at the State Industrial Development Secretariat. Lands to be acquired for industries should be barren and unfit for cultivation. He said that decentralization of development will be done in such a way that there will be less pollution without any loss to the farmers. At the same time, instructions were issued to give a full report on those allocated to the industries… that are not being used. Non-polluting industries should be given priority and alternatives should be suggested in the case of Nacharam, Jeedimetla, Katedan and other industrial areas in Hyderabad.

Must run on Solar Power

CM Revanth Reddy suggested that government, unused and barren lands should be identified in the nine joint districts of the state and priority should be given to setting up industries. They should stay away from residential areas. He said that due to this, the prices of the respective lands will be low and farmers will also cooperate in land acquisition. It is suggested to take steps to use solar power instead of thermal power for industries. He said that plans should be made with priority to develop the towns of the state as model villages.
