Interim Budget to be Announced in Telangana Assembly Today

For the first time after the formation of Telangana state, Congress is getting ready to introduce its very first budget. Today in the Telangana Assembly, the Congress government will present its budget. Deputy CM and Finance Minister Bhatti Vikramarka will introduce the budget in the legislative assembly. The people of the state are eagerly waiting for the Telangana budget. Today at 12 PM in the legislative assembly, Minister Bhatti Vikramarka and in the legislative council, Minister Sridhar Babu are set to present the vote-on-account budget. Before that, a Telangana Cabinet meeting is scheduled to take place at 9 AM in the Assembly Committee Hall. In this meeting, the Cabinet is expected to approve the budget. The discussion on the budget introduced by the government is scheduled for the 12th of this month.

The Telangana government’s upcoming budget is expected to allocate significant funds for education, healthcare, and agriculture. The government has announced that its budget will be beneficial for all sections of society. The government has formulated the budget based on actual revenues and expenditures. The government also meticulously calculated and considered the budget proposals submitted by various departments. It is reported that the proposed budget has been carefully planned to ensure 100% expenditure. With the Lok Sabha elections approaching, the first budget to be introduced by the Congress government in Telangana is expected to lay a strong foundation for the comprehensive development of the state and is anticipated to be favourable to all the people.

The first budget by CM Revanth is expected to show his unique approach, with special funding for important areas. He is planning to announce good news for every assembly constituency in the state. He is set to lay a strong foundation for development and infrastructure in every assembly constituency. He has decided to allocate Rs. 10 crores for infrastructure development in each assembly constituency. The financial department’s senior officials have reportedly completed the groundwork related to this allocation. There are chances that a total of 1190 crores will be allocated in the budget for all 119 constituencies. For each assembly segment, it is said that two crores will be allocated for the development of the education sector and one crore for the provision of drinking water facilities.

It is known that the government has meticulously formulated the budget as it is the first budget after coming into power. At a time when cornered about the promises made before the elections, it is known that a plan has been devised to answer the opposition with their budget. Given the state’s current economic conditions, it is likely that allocations will be made primarily for commitments that are realistically achievable. They reported that the budget has made provisions for implementing guarantees such as free bus travel for women, increasing the Aarogyasri limit to Rs 10 lakhs, free electricity up to 200 units, and offering gas cylinders at Rs 500, making these promises feasible. CM Revanth Reddy recently announced that under the Kalyana Lakshmi Scheme, beneficiaries would receive not only cash assistance but also a tola of gold. There is a chance that an official announcement regarding this will be made soon.
