Kavitha Requests Rahul Not To Do That Again
BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha requested Rahul Gandhi and Jeevan Reddy not to stoop too low in their speeches again. Kavitha spoke at the office of Korutla MLA Kalvakuntla Vidyasagar Rao in Metpally town of Jagitial district. She said that BRS party has been working for the betterment of people for 10 years. She promised to implement all the schemes in the BRS manifesto.
She said that arrangements are being made to bring back the bodies of the workers who died in the Gulf to their families as soon as possible. She said that there are many opportunities in Telangana. She called all the brothers living in the Gulf to come back. Key comments were made that the Congress party has betrayed our trust. It was Sonia Gandhi who caused the death of hundreds of Telangana children. Her son is not Rahul Gandhi, he is ‘Election Gandhi’, she said. Both mother and son did not speak in Parliament on Telangana rights, she added. Addressing Jeevan Reddy, she asked, “What is your age? What is your honor? Why do you stoop so low in election speeches?”… “Do you want to create something about Bathukamma and keep poking fun?” she enquired angrily. She then suggested Rahul Gandhi to change his scriptwriter.
“He is saying KCR is against the BC caste census. Are they saying these things with a sane mind?” she asked. Then she reminded people that earlier there was only one BC hostel in Karimnagar, now there are 2 or 3 per constituency. She said injustice was done to Singareni workers during the Congress rule. She said that justice was done to the workers only after KCR came. She reminded that it was the KCR government that employed the 600 Singareni workers dismissed by the Congress. “We will open the sugar factory,” said Jeevan Reddy in the meeting on Friday, she reminded people that it was closed during the Congress rule. In 1933, the Nizam government set up the sugar factory, she said. When TDP sold it, the Congress party watched silently. The buyer was a BJP MP, she said. She stated figures that the BRS party has paid 66 crores after the Congress took a loan of 150 crores. “I am not like your ‘Italy Rani’. I never expected this kind of speech from a senior leader like Jeevan Reddy. For electoral gain can people stoop so low in their speeches?” Kavitha fired. “Rahul Gandhi is a paper tiger. I have a request to Rahul Gandhi and Jeevan Reddy. Don’t talk like this again.”, Kavitha said.
