KCR Wins In Gajwel: Break To The Sentiment
Gajwel constituency was once a Congress stronghold. In 1957, Congress candidate JB Mutyala Rao won here, and in 1967, 1972, 1978, 1989, 2004 and 2009, Congress candidates won. In 2014, KCR Gajwel stood in the ring, while Congress candidate Narsa Reddy stood in the third position. In 2018, Vanteru Pratap Reddy, who contested on behalf of the Congress, lost to CM KCR despite giving a tough competition.

Break To Sentiment
But there was a sentiment that whichever party wins in this Gajwel constituency, that party will come to power. Now, that sentiment has broken. KCR contested from the Gajwel constituency and won. However, the BRS government failed to get the required majority to form the government. This time, the Congress party has acquired the majority and is going to form the government.
