KTR said that “Indian External Affairs Minister Dr S. Jaishankar should have to promptly intervened in the situation and should be in communication with the US government, urging for an independent and unbiased investigation into the incident, ensuring that justice is served without any discrimination”. It is deeply saddening that Jahnavi, who went to America with high aspirations, tragically lost her life in an accident. However, it is even more distressing that justice for her seems to be slipping away, making the situation profoundly more grievous.
