KTR Criticizes Congress Government’s Decision to Cancel Formula E-Race in Hyderabad

KTR took to Twitter to express his disapproval of the Congress government’s decision to cancel the Formula E-Race in Hyderabad, deeming it an outrageous and regressive step. He emphasized that hosting such international events contributes significantly to enhancing the brand image of Hyderabad and the country on a global scale. KTR highlighted the considerable efforts invested in bringing the Formula E-Prix to India for the first time, with the aim of positioning Hyderabad as an attractive investment hub.

It has come to light that the KCR government strategically utilized the Formula E Race to host a week-long EV Summit, attracting a diverse audience, from EV enthusiasts to manufacturers and start-ups. KTR argued that the cancellation of the race at this juncture is unreasonable and could inflict substantial damage on the state.
