KTR Urges Immediate Government Action to Save Siricilla Textile Industry

KTR, the Working President of BRS, addressed the crisis in the Siricilla textile industry. While endorsing the ongoing initiatives from the previous administration to avert a crisis in the textile sector, he urged the Congress government to initiate additional programs promptly through social media channels. Emphasizing the significant progress made by the Siricilla  textile industry over the past decade, he highlighted the generation of employment and the development of skilled leaders with government assistance.

Expressing worry about the indefinite closure of Siricilla Tech Tile Park, the former minister took to Twitter, sharing newspaper clippings to underscore the urgency of the situation. KTR asserted that, given government support, the sector has the potential to rival the Tirupur textile industry in Tamil Nadu. However, he expressed apprehension about the distressing news emerging in the past 15 days, emphasizing the need for an immediate government response to prevent a severe crisis in the industry.
