LRS Controversy: Harish Rao Slams Congress for Breaking Promises

BRS MLA Harish Rao criticized Congress for habitually reneging on promises after coming to power. He pointed out that Congress, which had pledged to cancel the Land Regularization Scheme (LRS) and regularize land for free upon gaining power, has now backtracked on its word. He accused Congress of preparing to collect fees under the pretext of LRS.

Stirring up people in the past with slogans like “No LRS – No BRS” and now planning to collect fees for LRS showcases the deceptive words of Congress leaders, and was strongly criticized. If Congress leaders have any integrity, they should implement LRS without any fees as per their past announcements, or else they should apologize to the people for making a deceitful promise.
