MD Sajjanar Condemns Attacks on TSRTC Staff, Promises Legal Action

Two unfortunate events unfolded—one involving a female conductor in tears due to passenger insults on a Bhadrachalam depot bus bound for Kothagudem. The other incident witnessed auto drivers attacking an RTC driver, K. Nagaraju, in the Bhadradri Kothagudem district centre, provoked by passengers opting for the bus over autos. TSRTC MD Sajjanar expresses grave concern over recent incidents involving auto drivers attacking a bus driver in Kottagudem and passengers verbally abusing a female conductor in Bhadrachalam. Emphasizing the critical role of staff as the backbone of TSRTC, he deems it unacceptable for individuals to insult or assault them.

Complaints have been lodged with local police stations, FIRs registered, and investigations launched. Cooperation with staff during journeys is urged to prevent the recurrence of such incidents, fostering a safe travel environment.”
