Mega DSC Notification Supersedes Old Announcement

The Telangana government made an important decision. They cancelled the previous DSC notification from the BRS government. The Commissioner of School Education announced this yesterday. Instead, a new notification for 11,062 teacher positions will be out today. Those who have already applied don’t need to apply again.

During the previous assembly elections, the BRS government announced a DSC notification in September to fill 5,089 positions. Around 1,77,502 people applied for these posts. The exam was planned for November, but due to limited positions, many job seekers protested. Eventually, the exam got delayed due to the elections. In response, the Congress party promised to conduct a Mega DSC if they won. Now, besides the previous positions, the finance department approved filling 4,957 regular teacher posts and 1,016 special teacher posts, totalling 11,062 vacancies. These include 7,304 SGT, 2,849 School Assistants, 727 Pandit, and 182 PET positions.
