Modi Offers Special Prayers at Secunderabad Ujjaini Mahankali Temple

Prime Minister Modi performed special prayers at the Ujjaini Mahankali Temple in Secunderabad. Priests and officials welcomed him with a Poornakumbham near the temple. As part of his two-day tour in Telangana, he visited the Ujjaini Mahankali Goddess.

Inside the temple, only Prime Minister Modi and the main priests were allowed. The Prime Minister offered silk clothes to the goddess. Along with the goddess’s garment, a photo frame of Mahankali was presented to Modi. High security was set up in the Secunderabad area following the Bangalore blasts. The Mahankali temple was taken under the control of SPG personnel. From the temple, he is heading directly to the Begumpet Airport. From there, the Prime Minister will depart to Sangareddy in a special helicopter.
