NDA Team Heads to Telangana for Kaleshwaram Project Inspection

An NDA team is set to visit Telangana today for the study of the Kaleshwaram project. In this regard, a meeting is scheduled to take place at the Jalasoudha in Hyderabad with state irrigation department officials and engineers under the chairmanship of former Central Water Commission Chairman Chandrashekhar Iyer, comprising a total of six members. Following this, they plan to visit the Medigadda, Annaram, and Sundilla barrages on Thursday and Friday.

Following the request of the state government, a six-member expert committee formed to study the Kaleshwaram project will conduct a review meeting with irrigation officers in Hyderabad on Saturday, 9th of this month. The meeting is expected to discuss actions and precautions related to the barrage. Information suggests that a preliminary report to the state government will be submitted within 30 days, with a comprehensive report to follow in four months.
