Revanth Reddy Announces Accident Insurance for Singareni Employees

Revanth Reddy stated that Singareni workers did not receive proper justice in the past decade. He had a meeting with bankers at the Hyderabad Secretariat. He described this day as historic for the Singareni worker community. He mentioned that the role of Singareni workers was instrumental in the Telangana movement. He also said that they are overcoming the problems created by previous rulers one by one.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy stated that the state of Telangana went into a severe financial crisis due to the debts incurred by the previous BRS government and KCR. He made these comments during the inauguration of a one crore rupee accident insurance scheme for Singareni employees. He advised against any misconceptions about the six guarantees. He mentioned that they had already announced the Rythu Bandhu would be distributed by March 31st, but criticized BRS leaders for making absurd criticisms. He also announced the launch of two more schemes tomorrow.

He accused KCR of plunging Telangana into a debt crisis. He stated that they are gradually improving their financial situation. Despite the financial crisis, they mentioned that employees are paid their salaries on time. He clarified that the implementation of the guarantees is an ongoing process. They are implementing each of the six guarantees one by one. He promised to explain to the public the mistakes made by the previous government.

Until now, the accident insurance for Singareni employees was Rs. 40 lakhs, but the Revanth government has increased it to Rs. 1 crore. Moreover, a significant decision was made to increase the accident insurance for outsourcing employees from 20 lakhs to 40 lakhs. Around 43,000 workers are going to be covered under the Rs. 1 crore accident insurance scheme. Until now, only soldiers had accident insurance of Rs. 1 crore, but now Singareni workers will also be eligible for it.
