Revanth Reddy Strategically Boosts Congress Presence in AP Politics

Telangana CM Revanth Reddy has become a notable player in AP politics, shifting his focus from Telangana. Reports suggest that Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shiva Kumar played a strategic role in the recent Telangana election. Revanth has now actively entered the field to bolster Congress in Andhra Pradesh.

According to party sources, Congress leaders are implementing a strategy to attract YSRCP leaders and MLAs who are discontented. Revanth’s envoy is reportedly in contact with YSRCP leaders, extending invitations to join Congress. The approach involves offering various incentives, including support in their business affairs, in addition to consolidating assets in Hyderabad.

Meanwhile, YSRCP Chief Jagan is reshuffling candidate locations to secure power once again. The Congress is working on convincing around 40 individuals who did not receive tickets and dissatisfied leaders to join their ranks, potentially causing a split in YSRCP votes. This scenario could ultimately benefit the Telugu Desam Party. However, recent developments indicate that Congress leadership might entrust the responsibilities in AP to YS Sharmila.
