Shock For BRS: EC Stops ‘Rythu Bandhu’ Disbursement

The Election Commission gave a shock to the Telangana government. It cancelled the permission for the release of Rythu Bandhu funds. The latest orders have been issued not to release the funds until the elections are over. Two days ago, in the case of Rythu Bandhu, EC allowed the release of surplus funds with some conditions.

However, recalling that the election code is in force in the state due to the assembly elections, the issue of release of Rythu Bandhu funds has been stipulated not to be mentioned in the campaign. With the permission of the EC, the state government has made arrangements for the release of Rythu Bandhu funds starting on the 28th of this month.

Is Harish Rao The Reason?

It seems that Minister Harish Rao’s comments are the reason behind the Election Commission’s latest orders. As part of the election campaign, Minister Harish Rao mentioned the release of Rythu Bandhu funds. As the media highlighted the minister’s words and received complaints about it, it was reported that orders had been issued to stop the funding of Rythu Bandhu.

Revanth Lashes Out On BRS

TPCC Chief Revanth Reddy said that KCR has no intention of benefiting the farmers except greed, anxiety and pride to win votes from Rythu Bandhu. This is evidenced by the EC’s orders that the permission given to Rythu Bandhu is being revoked because of Harish Rao’s comments. Revanth said that unless these traitors are sent home, there will be no justice for the farmers. Revanth asked Farmers in the state not to worry; he assured them that 15,000 would be deposited in Rythu Bharosa’s accounts in ten days when Congress formed the government.
