T-Congress’ Key Meeting With CPI Today: Third List Ready?
Election rush continues in Telangana. In this background, BRS, Congress, BJP, BSP and MIM parties increased the speed of campaigning. Meanwhile, it is known that nominations of candidates started on the 3rd of this month. Out of the 119 seats in the state, the Congress has so far finalized candidates for 100 seats in their two lists. While campaigning on one side, the Congress party has focused on the third list. It seems that a lot of hard work is being put in for the third list keeping in mind the disagreement that broke out in the party after the second list. According to party sources, Congress is likely to announce the third list today.
19 Seats Being Worked On
The leaders are working hard on another 19 seats to be announced on behalf of Congress. It seems that two or three constituencies may be pending in these lists. Three days have passed since the start of nominations in the state, but candidates for some positions have not been announced. This is causing concern among the respective candidates. In particular, the candidates of Satthupalli, Ashwaraopeta, Yellendu, Wyra and Kothagudem are to be announced in the combined Khammam district.
Revanth Reddy’s Nomination Today
TPCC Chief Revanth Reddy will file his nomination today. First, Revanth Reddy will perform a special pooja at the Anjaneya Swamy temple in Kondareddypalli of Vangoor mandal. After filing his nomination in Kodangal, he will come directly to the CPI office. Here, clarity will be achieved over the alliance with CPI and seat sharing. However, it is reported that the Congress intends to release the third list by the evening after holding full discussions with the CPI.
