Telangana: 4 Govt Exams On December 17 Puts Candidates In Dilemma

As the recruitment exams conducted by various government organizations are being held on the same date, candidates across the country who have applied are getting worried. Candidates who have applied for more than one notification are confused as to which exam to write and which exam to prepare for. Some are requesting to change the exam dates.

Telangana State Power Generation Corporation Limited (TSGENCO) has recently issued a notification to fill up 339 Assistant Engineers and 60 Chemist posts on a regular basis. EMRS Staff Selection Exam will be held on December 16, 17, 23 and 24 to fill up 10,391 teaching and non-teaching posts in Ekalavya Model Residential Schools. Also, the examination for 65 scientist/engineer posts in the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) and 232 probationary engineer and probationary officer posts in Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) will be conducted on December 17. The exam hall tickets/admit cards are made available on the websites of the respective recruiting agencies.

Candidates planning to stage a Dharna

Candidates are likely to lose if they write one exam and miss the other. In this context, it is known that the candidates are also preparing to hold a dharna at the Praja Bhavan (Pragathi Bhavan) to postpone the exams. It is reported that they intend to demand on this occasion to postpone the exams that are in the state government’s hands. As there is more than one exam on the same day, the candidates are in a situation where they cannot decide which exam to write.

The Congress government has been positive towards the unemployed since before the elections in Telangana. They said that once they come to power, they will fill 2 lakh jobs and they will release a job calendar every year. The unemployed who were cheated under the rule of the BRS government turned to Congress this time. Unemployment was also a major reason for Congress to come to power. Therefore, if the candidates appearing for the exam take their problem to the Congress government, the government is likely to make a decision in their favour. Also, it is known that work is going on in order to publish the job notifications as said by Congress.
