Telangana Announces Age Relaxation for Government Job Aspirants

The Telangana government has announced another major good news for the unemployed. The government has issued orders to increase the age limit for government jobs. The government has raised the existing age limit from 44 to 46 years for government job applications, excluding uniform services like police recruitment, thus allowing unemployed individuals up to 46 years old to apply for various positions.

CM Revanth Reddy recently said that the last government was unfair to job seekers, who ended up too old for jobs while waiting for notifications. He announced that to do justice to them, the age limit would be increased. The Chief Secretary of the Telangana Government, Shanti Kumari, released a GO, raising the maximum age limit for government jobs, including Group 1, to 46 years.

Job seekers voiced their grievances about exceeding the age limit for multiple competitive examinations due to incidents like the TSPSC paper leak and the delay in releasing notifications by the previous government. Several candidates have requested the current government to consider their petition and increase the age limit. The government has taken the unemployment petition into consideration and announced the good news of increasing the age limit for government job recruitment.
