Telangana: Congress Youth In Election Ring, Emergence Of New India

Congress party has given opportunity to youth in the Telangana assembly elections. All candidates who got tickets in exceptional circumstances are those who are entering the public sphere at a young age. People are moving ahead with enthusiasm to go to the legislature if they win. While maintaining the appropriate respect for the seniormost veterans of the party, Congress has also filled the state ranks with young blood. They have given the highest priority to balancing senior leaders, the young generation and social equality within the party.

Change in Congress.. Opportunity for Youth

Among the candidates announced by the Congress party, a good few tickets have been awarded to the youth in an unexpected manner. While H Jhansi Reddy was hoping for a Congress ticket in Palakurti, her daughter-in-law, 27-year-old Yashaswini Reddy unexpectedly got the ticket due to Jhansi’s citizenship problem. Similarly, Chittem’s successor Chittem Parnika Reddy, who got a ticket from Narayanpet, is also less than 30 years old. Similarly, Mynampally Rohith, who joined the Congress and got the Medak MLA ticket, is only 30 years old. 35-year-old Vodithala Pranav Babu got the ticket as a Congress candidate in Huzurabad. As the youth got a chance in the Congress party this time, politics turned interesting.

Competition With Seniors

In Palakurti, Congress candidate Yashaswini Reddy is contesting against Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao, a BRS candidate with a long political experience. Parnika Reddy, the heiress of the Chittem family, is standing as a Congress candidate against BRS candidate and MLA Rajender Reddy in Narayanpet. While Mynampally Rohith is contesting against the sitting BRS candidate Padma Devender Reddy from Medak, Congress candidate Vodithala Pranav Babu is contesting against incumbent BRS candidate Padi Kaushik Reddy in Huzurabad. With these developments, the contest in these constituencies has become something to watch out for.
